1. Eligibility for Refund

1.1 Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:

  • Service cancellation by Chamancab due to unavailability of drivers or vehicles.
  • Cancellations made by the customer at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled trip.

1.2 Refunds are not applicable for:

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled trip.
  • Trips where the driver has already started the journey.
  • Disputes arising from incorrect details provided during booking.

2. Refund Process

2.1 Initiation:

  • Once a cancellation or refund request is approved, the refund process will be initiated within 24 hours.

2.2 Processing Time:

  • Payments will be refunded within 1-2 working days to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, bank account, or UPI).

2.3 Notification:

  • A confirmation email or message will be sent to you once the refund has been processed.

3. Refund Amount

3.1 The refund amount will be calculated as follows:

  • Full refund: For cancellations initiated by Chamancab.
  • Partial refund: After deducting applicable charges, such as convenience fees or taxes, for customer-initiated cancellations.

3.2 In case of payment gateway charges, the refundable amount will exclude these charges, as per payment provider policies.


4. How to Request a Refund

4.1 To request a refund, you must:

  • Provide the booking ID, cancellation reason, and any supporting documents, if applicable.

4.2 Refund requests will be verified and approved at the discretion of Chamancab.


5. Disputes and Resolution

5.1 In case of disputes regarding refunds, our customer service team will work with you to resolve the issue amicably.
5.2 If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be subject to applicable laws and regulations.


6. Changes to Refund Policy

Chamancab reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website.
